This course is designed for those who have specific responsibility at work to provide first aid for their colleagues, or for those who provide first aid in voluntary or community organisations. It is a regulated and nationally recognised course.

⁃ Roles and responsibility’s of a first aider
⁃ Scene survey and primary survey
⁃ How to preform CPR
⁃ Safe use of an AED
⁃ How to manage a casualty who is choking
⁃ How to manage a casualty who is unconscious
⁃ How to manage wounds, bleeding and a casualty who is in shock
⁃ How to manage catastrophic haemorrhage
